Cambodia - Vietnam Trip Day 7 (21/06/06)
morning hits...had breakfast at the guesthouse...soon after that we went to the Chua Doc town and take a van ride to Can Tho town...there is where our homestay will be....the journey takes about 2 hours...upon arriving the guy from the homestay came and pick us up and send us to his home....after putting our bags down we had lunch....

after that we were brought to the fields and orchards....

Malaysia padi field dun wana take...why go take Vietnam padi field? i also dont know... :P

my room and bed and window and etc...

dinner time...damm i tell you i eat till my tummy almost explode...coz you see before this everywhere we go to eat we must see the menu and choose as cheap as possible..budget budget...but since we paid for the homestay programme, 3D/2N for USD 35, not exp...the 2 guai lo, they are my friend..they joined the homestay programme also...on your left is Andrew from England...he is only 19 and has been travelling for 10 months (India 6 months, Australia 2 months, Malaysia & Sg 1 month, then Cambodia 1 mth and now here with us)..and you right is Nigel, age 27 i think, from Australia..this time he only visits Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand...hehe...Nigel taught us a card game called president and asshole..it is a nice game....next time you see me ask me to teach you lar if i still remember..LOL...if you see from the picture, they are making their own springroll..we had massive of springrolls for dinner...DAMM IT IS GOOD !!!

the kitchen look familiar... i have that kitchen cupboard at my old house.. and the living room look very teochew style eh!~

well vietnam, cambodia and northern thailand has strong chinese culture influence...quite of number of local vietnamese i met knows how to speak mandarin or cantonese
