Cambodia - Vietnam Trip Day 6 (20/06/06)
Day 6 of the trip...good and bad things happen...i tell bout bad things first...Lii Kai, Serene and her brother are going back to Malaysia...their trip ends here...they will not be following me, Kah Sing and Jin to Delta Mekong and Ho Chih Minh....

NOW for the good news....we decided to go for a homestay programme in Delta Mekong...3D/2N for USD35 > inclusive of all transportation from Phom Peh to Ho Chih Min, accomodation, 2 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner...the bus journey from Phom Peh to the jetty is about 2 hours....
at the jetty i saw these ships...there are ships from the Vietnam side...if you notice they have eyes in front of their ships...they are for luck !
the boat journy from the jetty to the cambodia immigration office at the border will take another 2 hours....

after we got all the chops we needed, we are on our way to Chua Doc town, Vietnam...the journey from the Vietnam Immigration Office will take about 4 hours...on the way of coz we enjoy the same view again and again...hahahahahaha

floating petrol station...talking about petrol, petrol in both Cambodia and Vietnam is USD1 per liter for gasoline...in Malaysia it is only RM1.93 per liter...so be grateful !

Chua Doc Town
the guesthouse we are staying for the 1st ntie...we will only go to the homestay house tomorrow...
the place we stayed in the first nite is on a small hill...so we decided to go to the top to see sunset...
it started to get cloudy...DAMM ! so we decided to head back to the guesthouse...just in case it will rain...bty it is raining season now in both Cambodia and Vietnam....
now this is a special drink...it is mixture of soya bean and alovera....go and try it out yourself...
my bed for the night...tomolo will be a busy day...ehehe..homestay here i come !!!
